Default Need help picking out wheels...

...I normally don't need help. I typically know exactly what I want, and I tend to make it look good. This year, though, I can't decide what I want to do with the GS.

So last Fall I sold the MRR HR2's I had on the car.

I need new wheels before Summer gets here. Anyone have a suggestion on what wheel (or style) I should consider?

I'll probably pass over any of the HRE or the iForge lineup. Those wheels look too "executive" style. I also will pass over anything that looks too 'import tuner' (like Blitz wheels). I'll definitely pass over the DUB and the donk style stuff....too bug, too gawdy.

JDM VIP is where it's at, but I'm not stuck on it. I'll be keeping the RMM kit I have on the car, and doing up the interior a slight bit just to freshen it up.

I'm considering the Work VS-XX, the Work VS-KF, and the Kranze Ratzinger. I also really like the CCW SP500; all in 19".

Can anyone recommend to me any other wheel, color, and/or size (diameter, width, and/or offset)? If not, would you care to suggest one from the wheel I've listed already?

Here's the car:

Here's the VS-XX in chrome:

Great suggestion, but I can't do the LM's. I have a set of LM's for the S2000.

BTW, you consider those cheap? I thought in 19" and 20" sizes they were pretty pricey (around $4k just for wheels).

dont go with the CCW SP500 because I'll be getting those

Just my prefernce, but I would skip on the Works VS-XX. Seems like everyone has them, if you want to stand out, get VS-KF. Those will look awesome on a dark car

I agree, out of all those, I would go with the VS-KF. Looks like a really nice wheel and I've always wondered what they look like on a GS. By the way, the MRR HR2's looked good too, another one of my favorite wheels.

Ok...looks like there's a set of JP Scaras available used...not sure about used market, but we'll see after I talk to the seller. I won't be as low, or have the exhaust, but I guess it's something to base an opinion on.

jp scaras (you cant go wrong)
vskf (i'm considering these)
vsxx (gsteg is right-i may be listing mine)
bbs lm's (not cup of tea)
ccw's (not my cup of tea)

(in that order) just my 2 cents. if you get any of those wheels, you may want to slam your car to show them off GL!

Out of the wheels you mentioned I like the ccw's or the jp scaras. The drop is what makes the car though, you can have a nice wheel and if there is a gap or not enough drop it will still not look right. I just got my suspension and im in the same boat as you, im on here daily looking for the right wheel hehe. Good luck and hope to see you at some meets this year.

If the wheels I've found on the board don't work out, then I'll most likely be calling him. In fact, the MRR's that were on the car were bought from D2-Autosports...
