Default Help with LED 9005 bulb for DRL

Mods, I know this belongs in the Lighting Section but if I can place it here for a couple of days, I'll appreciate it.

I bought some 1 W LED 9005 bulbs to replace those sick looking yellow 1/2 powered stock bulbs.

i place both led bulbs into the high beam harness and they don't light up together. if i remove one led and replace it with the stock 9005, the led lights up.

can anyone chime in why both led can't light up together. it seems like there is not enough power to light up the led bulbs.

i guess it's serving it's purpose in that the DRL doesn't show, so it's currently a dummy bulb. How do I get both LEDs to light up??

Thanks

My guess would be that it has something to do with the resistance flowing from the LEDS

yeah its strange...I posted up this issue awhile back and didn't get any real answer. They should light up when you use your highbeam, but doesnt work as a DRL. Hope someone could chime in with an answer.

i think it has to do with voltage going to the bulbs or lack of for the LEDs.

I got rid of the DRL all together, so now any 9005 bulb works including my SilverStar Ultra's.
