Default Just a idea

I was putting new centercaps on my 17" today and though, has anyone tried to put the "L" on the centercap on the center of the steering of the '98-'00 GS maybe a cheap way out and still get that upgraded look

I don't think they are the same size... Not to mention that if you look closely on the center caps, the L is more of a roundish shape, where the actual Lexus Logo is an oval.

man good point.. i was going to say the sizing would just be off but that idea trumps mine 100%. a permanently embedded lexus "eye patch" would probably suck too.

Look on eBay. Search for "Lexus Steering Emblem". I bought one for $50. Expensive and overpriced like hell but it does make the old interior look updated and more modern. That little chrome piece does a lot to making it look like a newer model. Still too much markup in my mind though, for a piece of 50cent material.

And in terms of feeling like you might get hit with it, just use some superglue and it shouldn't come off.

I hear the one on the engine cover should fit but I'd rather have it on my engine cover and not in my head.

LMAO, actually it would be a backwards imprint on your forehead if you really think about it.
