Default Wheel and offset question

Sorry, but my search did not come up with definitive answers.
I'm interested in the following wheels: Is the offset correct, would they fit my car?Size: 18x9

Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 will bolt on to 5x115

OffSet: +25mm

I'm not planning on dropping the car, just want to replace the stock wheels on an 01 GS430:

Your opinions on the wheel looks is also appreciated.

Not lowering the car eh? Then you should be fine in the rear but the front might have some issues being a 9" wide rim and 25mm offset.

i'm no wheel expert, my 2 cents:
-i'd be concerned about what you mentioned the bolt pattern "will bolt..." i'd want my wheels to be made specifically for my bolt pattern
-offset seems kinda low and might stick out at stock height.
-wheel doesnt look bad, again, hopefully others can chime in about the latter 2 points to help you out

So is the 25mm making the wheel too close? I guess I don't understand the offset concept.
What's the OEM offset?

If you have 17s, the stock dimensions are 17x8 et50. 18x9 et25 is pretty agressive. You might not have rubbing issues with those wheels at stock height, but at stock height, it'll stick out a bit and look weird. If you do plan on lowering it later, you will need to modify your front fenders.

Thanks sleeper, this puts things in perspective for me. I now have an idea what to do.
