Default Flushing throttle body with water?

Is it ok to take the throttle body off the car, flush it out with carb cleaner and water, and just let it dry?

Yes, I have done that a few times (though not to my own RX300) but a few other vehicles I have worked on.

I personally wouldnt use water. I would use the carb choke and compressed air.

here's the catch. my idle is very rough at this moment, and my vsc/vsc off lights are both on. I do have an AEM intake, so I'm going to go back to stock when I get home and see if it still idles roughly. If it still does then I'm going to take a look at my throttle body (praying that it is not bad).
