Hello to fellow lexus gs owners. Just bought a 98 GS400 and wow it's just... beautiful, green, 117,000 miles on it, new tires, front brakes and most of all timing belt was changed on. Car was in texas, elderly owned.
I'm really happy with my purchase, but i need to buy that arm rest, drives me insane to see the interior so perfect, til i look at the arm rest and the head lights need to be redone or polished, what oil and gas are you guys using, what do you guys recommend. I'll upload some pics once my camera is charged. Thank you......!

Car was in texas, elderly owned. Leather is in excellent condition with the exception of the arm rest. I wash this car about twice a week and don't drive it pass 50 mph. congrats and welcome to cl . you can probably find an arm rest at a salvage yard in good condition or seaech classifieds here or try ebay. Why dont you drive the car past 50mph you gotta put the petal to the metal in that badboy. your not gonna hurt it beleive me i dont baby my car at all when it comes to drivin fast. there is a thread on how to redo your lights just do a search . i use mobil 1 every 3k and 93 octane for gas . and post some pics of that badboy
After so many oil changes with amsoil and mobil 1, you'll find Pennzoil platinum in my car. It's cheaper on the wallet over the other two, yet I still get better protection over regular dino oil. I use shell, mobil, chevron, (whichever one is cheaper).
Thank you all for the welcome very nice of you.. sorry i don't know how to multi quote so here's my answer to everybody. I 'm in New york, bayside, the arm rest is a little ripped and MARKGS4 YES INDEED WE ARE A FEW GREEN HERE!!
