Default another noisy thread = (

so one day i actually turned off my radio during a highway cruise.
to find myself listening to a weird noise which only came up about 60+ mph
sounded like it came from the front pass wheel.
took off wheel looked around banged around tied up a few loose plastic pieces in high hopes.. took out for ride no luck.

heres the breakdown.
noise is directly related to the gas pedal.
once im cruizing at 60+ its there i give it a little gas to kind of get the forward motion goin.. it instantly blows up so its really touchy to the accelerator/tension in the shafts from acceleration.
if i put the car in neutral while rolling and rev the bejessus out of it... nothing... def not an engine sound.
if im accelerating (hearing the sound) and i kinda ride the brakes enough for it to start slowing down it instantly seizes the noise.

someone suggested brake hardware kit.

took off both wheels up on jackstands the front end goes up.
replaced the hardware kit.
didnt notice anything unusual
(also did the steering daizen bushings) mmm how nice of a ride!!!

take the car out for a ride.
bam the noise is even louder now and starts at 40+ mph.
however now that its louder it seems to be coming from the rear.
its really hard to hear.
still goes away with brakes applied.

i also checked wheel bearings.... i think the fact that rolling in neutral at 60+ i hear nothing kind of rules that out right away. also did the wabbly hub feeling test. passed with 99.9% spun the hub as well wihtout the brakes.. didnt sound bad.

im gna do more diagnosing.
any more suggestions?!?
please help its really annoying

i was thinking about jacking up the rear of the car onto jackstands and possibly shifting into drive to poss recreate the sound.. sounds like a bad idea no?

i think im gna get someone to drive and stick my head out the window maybe get a little more solid idea where its comin from.

any input appreciated.!Ro

Cool

stock or aftermarket wheels? wheel spacers? hubcentric rings? try that avenue.
