thanks,
Sure - but there are already some here I'm pretty sure.

I plan on getitng mine mounted in line with about dead center of the rear view mirror, just below it on the windshield.

Concealed display? Nope; not much gained by them IMHO.

I really think its cool how the display dims to the ambient light level.

But the bands sound different. You should be able to tell by listening, or even knowing the first light (bottom) in X, then K, then Ka moving upwards....at least thats my way of knowing at a glance...

I didn't get the conceal display either, currently, I have mine next to the rear view on the driver side, and it is hard to see it from the outside already, being that my car is limo tinted all the way around (not the front). I am more worried about signals not getting through my tint, than concealing my V1 from the outside

I am thinking of dropping the detector to just right below rear view for better signals, but then worried about blocking my view while driving. If signals is not blocked where it is now, then I don't want to move it. However, how can I test it out.. Can't find a fixed radar for testing..,

2 of 2.

Took about 30 minutes to install, think it was about $20 / $25.

Hey guys - here are the pics. The first in the series is actually the last shot before being done, but I wanted to demonstrate where the two screws were.

The black& white wire is the one we used; its the switched mirror power wire. My installed actually removed a tab bit of insulation around the wire first before putting on the 'wire tap' - I think I got a good couple of close ups of that.

The resolution is little low, but figured it would be easier to post one pic instead of 7 - if you want big hi res originals PM me with your email adress.

~45min total - $30

Dexter,

Great pics! Looks like a pretty straight forward install. Can you email me the hi res pics? Tried to PM you but your box is full. If you get a chance please email to me at crcheng@calpx.com
