I'm having problems with my tilt part and is not functioning,but the telescopic part was working. i was hearing a clicking noise coming from the tilt control module when i press on the tilt switch button down wards. So i took out the module from a 99 gs3 and i hooked it up to my 98 gs4 and still hearing the clicking noise and still don't function. Before it was working sometimes and sometimes don't. Could it be the tilt motor is going out?Also when i had the key in the ignition and unpluged the tilt&telescopic module,now the telescopic part is not funtioning right either. The telescopic part don't even come up and down all the way anymore. It just comes up and down only alittle bit. What could be the problem? Please help...

 

I have a 98 GS300 and my steering wheel tilts but the telescopic dont work. I hope you find the reason so maybe i can fix mine.

 

you guys figure out what to do?

I think the dealer charges like almost $1000 to fix that.
