where are you LEDs from? If Carson, you should already know it triggers that warning light. Don't worry, this is a common issue and nothing to be worried about, unless you wired your lines funky.

If it bothers you just pull the bulb from the dash.

actually, carson's were revised a long time ago, so you would not get a dash light. I think they even revised the inners too. i have a dash light because of the inners, so I just pulled the bulb

Make sure the lights come on when you turn the lights on and also when you press the brake, you could have connected them wrong. I don't think the outers should set off the tail light bulb out indicator, only the inners.

i don't think they can be installed wrong, they have plugs that are one way. the reason why the dash light comes on is because he got them from ebay or got the unrevised from carson (used from someone).

I say that because when I first got mine I plugged them in wrong and had the light out indicator on the dash and the lights wouldn't come on when I pressed the brake so I switched the plugs and the light out went away and the lights came on when I pressed the brake. Remember that the brake light is a double filament bulb so the led's work the same.

Mine's are pretty cool. Only when I step on brakes, the light comes on. But then at night it's on constantly...

that because they turn on (night, brake press) and don't read the same resistance as a regular bulb would.

anyone have problems w/ the tails of only the brake light working, or nighttime light but never both. just one or the other. i tried plugging them in every way possible and still the same, the lights would light up at night, but brakes wouldnt work, or plugged differently the brakes would work but not the ones for night. thx.

yes unless you still have the inner leds hooked up. if you put back everything back to oem, the light will go off.
