Default Couple new mods

So I got a couple new things done to my car today. I've been having a love/hate relationship with my G-Spider wheels and decided to sell them about 2 months ago. I was back on the stock 16s until I could find a worthy replacement. After working with Derrick @ D2 I really liked the Work Varianza T1S. I took the plunge and ordered them. I was told a 14-16 wait time for the black chrome finish. I definitely got a surprise when I got the wheels after just 10 weeks. The wheel specs are:

Work Varianza T1S WBC (Work Black Chrome)
19x8.5 +38
19x10 +42

The tires are a fat setup:
275/35/19
245/40/19

I also had some mods that were laying around the house I never got around to having installed. I was able to get my 4 point brake upgrade and Daizen sway bars installed as well.

On to the pictures (excuse the dirty car):

The car seems to be a little high for my tastes. I'm currently on L-tuned Springs and KYB GR-2 shocks. I'm wondering if going coilovers will be worth the extra expense, or if I should just go with springs that will make the car lower. Thoughts?

Nice wheels! Although I prefer them in a brushed finish, the black chrome looks nice too. I think if you spend that much on wheels, you might as well pay a bit more for a suspension that would fit your needs.

I have the same dilemma with my current suspension setup right now. Im on Bilstein Sport shocks and Tanabe GF210 springs. I wish the rear would be a bit lower, and i have a set of Espelir ASD springs which seems to look lower on other CL members rides. However, i think i agree with a lot of CL members when they say "go coilovers and don't look back."

The car seems to be riding higher and a bigger wheel gap now opposed to when I had the 18" G-Spiders.

Im gonna see if i have the same adverse effect when i put on my 19" staggered Riverside Trafficstar DTS. Im currently on stock chrome 17" right now and i can tell there's a bit of a gap compared to the front. The front sits perfect, but the rear seems to have a noticeable gap.
