Default RMM grill feedback...

Hi gang - I've been interested in the L-Tuned grill for a while but I think it's way overpriced. I don't like the TRD one either. I think the RMM one actually looks the best, but I've heard people mention it being not very well made or not fitting very precisely.

So any feedback on the RMM grill would be appreciated. Thanks.

The ones I've played with are sub-standard...

I just put a RMM grill on my car.

In my experience, not only does it fit nicely, I think it looks great and have gotten a lot of positive comments about it. It definately looks a lot different (and I think better) than the stock grill.

Here's a pic of my car with the grill shown. Unfortunately, it is hard to see the "mesh" backing which makes the grill even nicer.

I would say go with it!

Good luck,

Manuel

I too have the RMM front grill. I am completely satisfied with it. it fits perfect and is installed to the existing screw holes. No modification is necessary. Tough decision though...they are all nice. Check out the GS gallery:

Bit,

When you said you didn't like the TRD grill, do you mean the one from Japan and not the L-Tuned one, correct?

I have the JDM grill, which is pretty much the TRD Japan grill. Fit and finish is great, and came prepainted to match my Millenium Silver.

Good luck in your search for a grill.

from what I've seen, the TRD carbon fiber grill and the TRD-Japan/JDM grill are the exact same grills, but the CF one has a CF look and the JDM is painted. Shape is the same.

I have a RMM grill and dont have any problems with it. I have had the center bar part cut out and still havent had any durability issues. I also have a RMM grill on my GF's RX300 and have no issues either.

RMM Grilles - Hmmm, the few that I saw were at my buddy's shop and they all need to be fitted...one came with mangled mounting hole...

TRD vs. TRD - I think the CF version has a thicker mesh...dunno, but I'm going to be different at go back to stock!
