The body shop thats doin my car called and said the fittment on my RMM Grill is really bad. They say it must be warped, b/c the gap between the hood and the grill isn't symmetrical. It has nothing to do with the wire mesh, b/c they tried it without putting the mesh on.

I'm so bummed. Called RM and they were cool with me sending it back. I was really looking forward to that grill.

The shop is gonna paint the inner portion of my staock grill Black to match the body. Hope it looks good.

 

i ordered my RMM grill a month ago and still waiting for it. I emailed twice and i still haven't got any replies back.
I'm thinkig of just canceling my order and go with another grill.

 

i love the grill's design but its a bit flimsy, and i had my shop tell me they had a little trouble installing and did a flush mod 2 get it flush 2 the hood. but te bodykit was a perfect fit. i hope u get a better one...

 

There were some old threads regarding the poor fitment of the RMM grill. Too bad, the grill looks nice.

I can tell you that my spoiler was a nightmare to fit also. Maybe that's why they were so cool with taking your grill back.

Hmmm, I'm kinda glad that I wasn't able to get the RMM grill....I was on a 6 week wait since I placed the order and I decided to cancel. At this point, I'm waiting for Steve to get his TRD CF Grilles in

 

I still think it's easily the best looking grill but yes, the fitment is a bit odd in the mount to one side of the hood latch (pushes the grill out a bit).

If I could find a similar or better looking grill (to me) with better fitment, I'd buy it. I wanted an L-Tuned one, but can't find one anywhere.

 

whats the toll free number to RMM? i'm about to call them and cancel my order.
I hope steve ganz has an L-Tuned grill or TRD carbon fiber grill...i'm tired of waiting for RMM.

funny thing is that you guys are all having the same experience that I had from a customer service standpoint. When I ordered their 3-pc spoiler, which took like 5-6 weeks to come in, I also could not get an email returned either.

 

It's best just to call them. I dunno how they deal with emails.

 

my RMM grille is warped beyond all belief...the center bar is warped and isnt exactly straight...the bottom half of the of the outside bar is warped....and its not flush...and at the top right it is pushed in sorta...it is a really poor fitment. O yea...and the 3 piece wing...that fitment was even worse...i juss ripped it off and tossed it in the corner of one of my friend's warehouses somewhere.

I finally got a reply from Rod Millen. My grill has been canceled...but they haven't refunded my money yet.
As of now there is still a 300 dollars on my card....wonder how long its gonna take to get my money back.

I ordered a different grill ...i will post pics when i get it.
