hi eveyone im new to CL. i was wondering what the difference is between all the '98 and above tail lights. pics would be good and are they interchangable? or maybe someone can link me to some other threads that explain it. Thanks in advance.

98-2000 taillight is different from 01-05. Older model taillights have the signal and reverse on the middle of the taillight, and the new model taillights have it on the bottom.

 

i read on other threads that you need to get the 01+ harness if you plan to upgrade it to that style talis? is this true? if so, how do you change the harness and where can i get some? Thanks in advance.

 

epidemic - it's the same harness - don't worry man. just don't give away your harness when you sell your original tails.

 

thanks dude. no worry i aint gonna sell my tails. do you think itll look nice if i red out the entire 98-00 tails?

get LED taillights, it's the best thing done to my car so far. It really makes the car look more modern.
