Did they have to remove the dash? Why so much?? Did they replace all three servos?

Okay.. I think I have a reasonable explantion as to what is going on with the passenger side being warmer.

The heater core in and out lines come in on the passenger side. I think that when the refrigerant charge is low this causes that side to be a little bit warmer.

BTW.. I cannot beleive Toyota put the servos where they did. It is next to impossible to get to the screws that hold the servos on to the evaporator/heater-core housing. What a bunch of idiots. Makes me feel like selling.

BTW.. I got a 22oz can of r134a and it is very cold now... We will see how long it will last.

Default Common Problem, no difinitive fix yet

If you check out this thread, you'll see a lot of people have experienced this problem and there is still no definite answer. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ight=darrylg33
Could be lack of refrigerant or servos, or heater core. You have to work through all of them. I actually had to replace my A/C Compressor this year as it died completely, so when I recharged it, I still have pass side a few degrees warmer than driver side when on full A/C, I imagine I will still have cold air in the winter if I don't fix it on the pass side. I'm going to change the servo next, (check the pdf's in the thread) and if that doesn't work I'll go after the heater core.

If you stumble across this in a search go here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...vo-motors.html

that will fix your right side temp problem-as well as your mode/direction of air blowing through the vents problem
that clicking sound you hear behind the dash when you fire up the car and the air is only blowing through the vents/window/floor is the mode servo grinding it's gears...they're shot!
