I'll join the club, thre was a thread awhile back about it being a servo in the dash that controls the warm/cold air for the pass. side. It was around $100 to replace BUT there wasnt a follow up to if that was really the problem or not. I have a set of factory service manuals and I'm going to try and trace the problem down.

I had the same problem in my 01 GS430 a month ago. It turned out to be that I barely had enough R134 in the system (due to a slow leak)

My bandaid solution was to fill it up (be sure to buy the kit with the REUSABLE HOSE W/ the GAUGE) and voila my passenger was not raosting in the heat anymore.

I'll pony up to have the leak found sealed when the car goes in for the timing belt in August .....
