Red face fender pulling on a GS

Updated with Pictures

i started to us a fender roller on the front driver side to roll the fender slightly and maybe do a light pull. but i ended up flaring the fender out pertty bad. haha. so i am starting to look for larger wheels with more lip.

But i was wondering for anyone who had experience on pulling the REAR sections on a GS? i have the tabs shaved off. and it looks like theres 2 layers of metal. should i go about this the same way as i pulled the front?

(man.... Fender rollers is no joke... haha... didn't look like i was making a differnece when i first used it... but once you get the hang of it, you can go pretty crazy with it. "WIDE BODY HERE I COME" j/k)

Pulling the rear fenders on the GS is no joke, due the the double-thick metal.

We did this on mine, but without serious cutting and welding, you can only move them a few millimiters. Also, be prepared to repaint the rear quarters if you do this.

Ouch!

I did the same thing on my front. Unfortunatly I was a little late as a car load of people and a side embankment grabbed both my fenders and creased them before I had a chance to roll them The roller worked great once I did it though (even though the crease had already happened) I wouldn't hesitate to use it once I get new fenders, and again, it is easy to go crazy with it so be gentle

Holy cow man...I think you went a little overkill there on the fenders lol. The flare is a bit too hardcore now, but I bet you could fit some 275's with a 3.5" lip up front now

that is a weird pull

What wheel spec are you having trouble to clear??

I have just a roll up front....no need for pull.

my definition of a "pull" looks like a it was never messed with.

I pulled my rears with the fork-side of a hammer. Jack up the car just a tad, use a board against tire for support, and start pullin....I pulled enough, and you cant tell.....and no more rubbin whatsoever.

I think of fender pulling as "gentle" also. That is some crazy fender flaring.

i wanted to just give it alittle pull but it went over board. the fronts are 19x9+(somewhere around) 20 and 245-35 tires
i am planning to add spacers and clear some bbk.

oh well.. i will have to make it work out.

no because the rear fender has a mild roll, therfore the claws were putting pressure on the inner lip.
