Did you end up getting the car??

 

the emission test out there isn't what kills these FI guys..its the visual inspection.

A lot of cars can pass with mods, but the guy smogging it will not pass due to visual alone.

Hel|, people are getting busted for having a simple non-CARB intake, let alone a turbo/supercharger kit

 

Man you guys have it bad.What if you move to the stateand your car already has a diiffernt intake and exhaust? do you have to get it into compliance.?

 

No Gil didn't end up getting the car. The guy wanted too much. My cousin knows the guy and tried to get a better price , but the guy wouldn't drop the price. Still want to go FI tho.

 

There getting harder and harder to come by. Might have to try and catch a RMM S/C kit or a FI GS in the classifieds.

 

Yes I have been looking in the classifieds. I spoke to a guy that makes them for 2nd gen gs. I'm most likely going to buy one, just that it would be nice to find a car that has FI and lots of mods already.

 

yeah the only thing about buying a modded car is you have to do tons of research i.e. where the installs were done, how they were installed. i bought a teggy that was modified and had a ball trying to figure out wiring issues and such. just make sure the parts and install are of good quality and the installer is a reputable one. plus, remember good things come to those who wait.

 

LOL very true bongs.. That's the main reason why I haven't jump on some of these cars. Cuz some of these guys can't answer my question, And don't know alot about who and where it was installed.

 

There's a turbo GS300 in teh classifieds and also i found it on ebay.. The ebay BIN price was 15,9.. GL
