Lightbulb Custom EDFC Install

Though this has been done before. Seen only 1 pic of a members car with the EDFC in this location. But he sold the car and is long gone from us here at CL.
Wanted to see what my CL peeps think. Also, thanks to RMMGS4 for the inspiration to try something like this. His EDFC install is the best I've seen.

Looks very clean... Great job.... It almost looks perfectly flush with the vent.

Thanks!! It took quite a bit of "trimming" on the inside of the dash to make it fit just right. As you know the EDFC is perfectly square. But if you notice, the part of the dash where the vent is, is actually angled towards the driver. When I first put it in, I was not pointing in the same angle as the vent.

I have yet to relocate it. I'm planning to extend the wires and mount it underneath next to the footwell light. For the LED light for the factory alarm, I plan to get an aftermarket LED and mount it somewhere like the garnish for the instrument cluster. Don't really use this **** or the LED , so I thought this was the ideal place to mount my EDFC. For now, the dimmer **** is just tie strapped behind the dash.

Because I use the coin box more than I would use the dimmer ****.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Wow, Power fold down on the mirrors.

I would trade you my coin box for that bro.

If you look at the pic I posted, to the right of the mirror control switch is the coin box. Push on the door and it swings down=Coin Box.

Is your car right hand drive? What country are you in?

Beautiful job. I may relocate mine now, because it's getting on my nerves being under the steering column where the vent was.
