Default slight cricket like sound while driving

I am getting a faint cricket noise while the car is in motion above 25 mph. Anyone have any idea what it could be? It is not coming from the engine bay. Could it be the differential, brakes, wheel bearings? I had new crossdrilled/slotted rotors installed recently and I noticed the sound right afterwards. It does not sound like metallic grinding. More like a "cricket"

Since the only thing new is your rotors I would lean towards that. Also, since it's a "chirp...... chirp" sound that too sounds like something going round and round. What is puzzling is the fact that it only occurs above 25 mph. Check the dust sheilds, one may be bent slightly from the recent install.

I've had a similar sound ever since I bought the car. For some reason it's a little "squeak" sound. I thought it might've been the Wheel bearings but during the annual check up (MOT in the UK) nothing was mentioned. I'm guessing it's just the dust sheild as well that needs a little readjustment. Only hear it very slightly when doing 20-25mph below/above that it's not there and can only hear it with the window down.

Are you getting a similar sort of sound at similar speeds?

Yes..It is only audible with the windows down. Should I just bend back the dust sheilds ? It sounds like it is coming from the rear

I had the same problem and it was driving me insane after long drives. But I got it fixed. I had my friend change the A/C Blower and no more crickets.

lol....The crickets here in NYC will steal the car. I guess I will look adjust the dust shields behind the rotors and see what happens.
