Weird Sounds from brakes?
after I changed my rotors to the brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors (all around) i've been getting this weird sound kind of like when you put a card on a bike and it makes that sound by hitting the spokes?
i thought it was just because the brakes haven't broken in, but it's been about 3 months now and the sound is still there? it's not at high speeds, but you can hear it clearly when i'm going under 40mph.. it's really annoying.. any ideas???

Have you checked everything out as much as you can. See my post from 5 mins ago. I just got done doing my fist brake job ever and was becoming frustrated with a nasty sound. But its all smooth and quiet now. Is your sound coming from front, rear, or both?

yeah, i took all the wheels off and tried to find the sound again and again.. me and my friend's at the shop can't even find the source.. i don't know what it could be, it's just weird.. haha when we took the wheels off and such and jacked up the car and put the car in both reverse and drive - the sound wasn't there?! it seems like there's only the sound when the wheels are on and the weight of the car is down on the ground.. so it's really strange.

ok, a little more info - it sounds like it's coming from the rears only... it's still only below 40mph and it gets LOUDER when i start braking.. could it be wheel bearings? i remember reading that clicking sounds mean the wheel bearings are bad...??
anyone have any ideas?

same thing happened with cross drilled rotors on my mercedes.
guess it's ebacuse of the rotors and came from the rears as well.
it wont go away i'll just be changing the rotors to regular ones next time to get ride of the noise i guess.
