There was a thread a little while back about cool things you didnt know the GS could do. Very informative. I still like the one from dad saying his kid knew if the windows were locked based on the LED light.

 

Most GM models are doing it now. But it's only really been a "recent" development (last 10-15 years or so). Most cars older than that didn't have this feature.

 

There is a thread where they altered the antenna to get better reception. There is also a thread where they tell you if you put your key to your chin an press the button, it improves the distance.

I personally have unlocked my car from so far away with this trick that by the time I got to the car it relocked itself, and I wasn't walking slow.

 

If you find a metal railing or anything metal for that matter, the distance is ever greater!

 

are you talken about when you hold the unlock botton on you key and all the windows go down and the sunroof opens, or when your sitting in your car and you shut it off and can still roll the windows down, because i think many cars with auto windows does this, my moms 04 accord does it
