Same diagnosis at the dealer today....
NOT Covered under ANY warranty...(emissions or otherwise)
2 hour labor ($108/ Hour) and parts which lists for $198.00 = ~$425.00 with tax....
Peace of mind... PRICELESS....
This is my FIRST LEXUS/TOYOTA vehicle and my FIRST Sensor failure on any vehicles (18 Total, mostly Hondas) I've owned... makes me think of unpleasant things about this brand specially after owning it only since September and 8K miles of driving.
P.S. The car also has screeching noise on COLD starts...BAD Serpentine belt per dealer.
I love this more than my previous cars so i will give it a few more chances to prove itself.
Time will tell I guess...

WHATTTTTTTTT????? 2 hours of labor????? $198 for an O2 sensor???
You just got ripped off, badly. I bought a new sensor (Bosch or Denso, I don't remember, but it was name brand and OEM) for $90, the special socket from Autozone for $6 and put it in myself (which took 5 minutes and some Liquid Wrench).
