can anyone tell me how to go about getting that "smoked" tinted look to the tailights and headlight?? Is it a difficult process.

Usually it is just tint film.

its not hard at all. go to the hobby shop and get some smoke spray. spray a couple layers on from the outside and let it dry. then hit it with two coats of top quality clear coat. each coat of tint you lay down will probably give you 10-20% tint.

Yeah its very easy....The more coats obviously the darker. Heres some pics of mine. After you put your last coat wet sand it with a low grit, and then put the clear coat on. You'll have a smoother finish.

Middle of spray tinting my tails, hence the inner tails not finished.
