Ok guys after all the good things I have read on CL about Zaino I think tomorrow I am going to send my cheque in for it..

This has been probably posted before but if you guys don't mind sharing any tips in regards to applying it.. Any tricks of the trade so to speak or does that Zaino website "How To" pretty much cover how I should apply this stuff..

I'll be applying this to a new car so I guess I should skip the clay bar portion.. Yes/No??

Much appreciate any input you guys can give me!

Savvy,

rubbing a bar across the gs sounds kind of scary to me at the beginning. but after i tried one panel, there is no going back. the bar really cleanse the body.

a memeber did an extensive write up on his procedure, experience+comments 1-2 weeks ago. you might want to do a little research on that because i believe that was one of the best i have ever read.

If you do not have swirl marks, you can skip Z5 and stick with z2. I put Zaino on two cars and would recommend buying an extra bottle of Z6 to save shipping and handling. Z6 cuts down on dust (most probably due to less static) build-up.

I had been using NuFinish for years and for the Pearl white see no appreciable difference, but on the dark color the "wet look" provided by Zaino is very obvious. The other nice feature is that Zaino does not leave a white buildup on black rubber/plastic parts.

Would also order extra Z7 (car wash concentrate). It is indeed concentrated but you'll certainly go through it faster than Z2, clay bar or Z5. As Salim pointed out, no sense in paying extra S & H.

Hi guys,
Even though the car is new, you should still clay bar it ,you'd be surprised at alll the contaminants the car picks up during shipping.

Clive, I've read Sal's remarks re railroad brake dust, and I do believe. I'm just lazy.

RhuluM, just go to www.zainobros.com. All the info, plus "testimonials" you could ever want.

All hail Sal Zaino!!!!

Hey guys thanks so much for all the input and suggestions.. Chowder you are the man.. Anyone that takes video of a Zaino job and posts it up is ok with me.. And your write up was excellent..

For you guys in Ontario.. Zaino might be available here at Marinello Ferrari in Woodbridge.. Buddy of mine seems to think they are carrying this product line but I haven't had a chance to confirm this.. If they are carrying Zaino I will re-post with prices and details..

Can't wait to get this product and try it out.. So I guess I should be looking at allocating a good weekend for this stuff I suppose..
