Default Post Your Worst Clay Bar

Post up your worst clay bar guys. Iono about you but I'm always amazed at the contaminants that come out of our paints. Its amusing and sickening at the same time and it would let us have some kind of an idea of the condition cars that everyone works on and stuff (whether own or others). That and I want to see if someone can top mine

Now, I know most sane people don't take pics of it but thats ok. Seeing this stuff amuses me sometimes so thats why I'm starting this thing

If you are posting a picture, please put:
-Name/type of clay bar
-Car it was used on
-How big the area that was clayed in the picture
-How long it took (for whole car)
-How much clay used

Lets have fun with this guys!

Of course . I'm no noob. I do quite a bit of clients car so I have to know what I'm doing lol

I had to discard it shortly after the roof (had to do the same for hood and trunk sadly). Figured my aunt would get a out of it so I gave it to her and sure enough that was her reaction

Hopefully its nothing too major. This picture was the contaminants from the fires last year in SoCal and on. Truly disgusting

I see so many people talk about clay baring, but I have no idea what it is, does, or how it works.

Can someone explain?

Thanks

This is a great thread!

I did my fathers RX a couple weeks ago, and wish I took pictures of the clay bar for this thread.

It was BAD, and the sad thing is I probably need to do it again but am lazy.

Sheesh, where do we start?

Start here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sea...archid=2401903

Google & Youtube are next... Lots of stuff there...

And then there are manufacturers' sites: Mothers & Meguiars both make clay bars, among others...

Mothers

Meguiars FAQ

And last but not least, check our suppliers for both product & info...

My son got into my stash, so it looks like this batch has been compromised...
