I've heard reviews from some folks here in Asia that V-Vision utilize cheap taiwanese parts for their retrofits and in general have poor handiwork...

same... i've heard from a couple of people about V-vision and apparently the quality of it is very poor...

the GS Q45's up there for instance have a very low output and the light spread is very weak unlike the actual Q45 retrofits...

I've also heard the materials used to make the parts are low quality.

If these are the same ones I've heard about, they are not the true Q45 projectors but just a knock-off projector. To be fair, though, all the opinions so far are what some of us "heard". Someone feel free to get a set and disprove all this hearsay. This unit is exactly what I want to do with my retrofit but I could not quite get over the quality so I am sticking with trying to find time to DIY.

i believe these are the knock-off projectors...

but it would be nice if someone purchased the set and they turned out to be nice... but then it takes away the rare-ness of the Q45 retro.
