I have a 01 GS430, the motors should be the same in all models right?

There is a whole thread in the stickies that describe how to repair these. You will also need a small gear puller.

Everyone needs to read this.

Yep...bad idea. The only way I van think that you re going to get in is take the door panel off while the door is closed ant that is going to be difficult.

Can you just buy the whole actuator rather than the motors and gear pullers?

Sure you can. Just have to find all 4 since they are all different.

Personally, I would replace the motor in your current Lexus one than buying that Chinese piece of who knows what.

The hardest part of the job is taking out and installing the actuator. The easy part is replacing the little motor.

Default door locks

Because I have soft door closings, my Lexus dealer wanted $1100+ to fix them. I did not do it.

My rear door locks unlock with the fab, but will not lock. They will lock and unlock with the drivers side door lock. They will also lock manually. Any advice?

I am new to clublexus and am just now experiencing this issue for my 2000 ES300. Is replacing the motors in the actuator the best way to fix this issue for good?

So my doors make some kind of clocking noise when the lock/unlock button is pressed on the driver side but none of the doors lock/unlock.
I don't have the master keys i use my spar to lock unlock the doors and that works fine. Is this still actuator you think? its just weird that its all the doors but there is noise letting me know electronically something is happening
