Has anyone else had this problem? When I open the drivers door and shut it then come back to open the door, it is locked. I thought it was the actuator but the lock/unlock button and key fob works properly and the lock indicator goes full lock/unlock when doing that. But, when I open the door with the handle, I found that the lock indicator does not open, therefore the car still thinks the door is locked and if the lock is in between lock/unlock, the car locks the door behind me. So I am thinking it is a problem with the door handle itself. Any input?

 

I'm leaning towards the door ECU. Do the interior lights turn on when you open that door?

 

Yes, the lights come on. Everything works normal other than the lock indicator when opening the door with the inside handle.
