i tried to get the codes, but i didnt see any.

i held down the "auto" and "recirculate" button, turned key to on....ac dash started flashing, then it went into some mode where it basically was doing some kind of auto-check on the ac system.

there was a number on the left side, that kept incrementing from 1 to 9, the fan speed would increment as the # to the left incremented, it would switch from foot vent to dash vent, to defogger vent. it went thru like 4 times before i shut it off. but i didnt see any codes.

am i doing this check correctly? or am i an idiot? most likely i am an idiot...doh!

 

I did as instructed and I did not see anything. I did not even get the blinking ac light.

Does anyone know how to do this..
