Default Nav Question...

I bought a alpine indash... But i decided to find a GS w/ OEM nav. I have seen pics of people using the stock nav to watch movies. But i have no idea how to do this.

I tried searching. But came up w/ nothing.

According to the other thread I posted above you only need to buy a DVD changer from Lexus an there is no need for these adapters. Does anyone else know if this is true or not?

the viastech adaptor is so expensive.!!! Couldnt we jsut buy the navtv unit and that will still work. Viastech is just so we can have better connection?

i was also wondering if this option will allow an aux input for ie: playstation, other devices, etc?

It would be nice if we could get some actual expert advice in this area. What works, what doesn't work! There seems to be a lot of information without any substance; "my friend has this" or other post that simply do not make any sense. Perhaps one could start a sticky with correct information?

Well buying a DVD Change thru the Lexus dealer is out, $4330.00. There crazy!!!!!!
