I have a 99 GS Silver/Black interior with the "ugly" black leather wrapped steering wheel. What I need is a black and wood steering wheel. Does anyone know where I can get one or if one was even made?

If you want a Regalur brown wood wheel contact American stitches like Johnny said. They have done many wheels for CL members on here.

There was never one made for the 99 GS. There were wood wheels for the 01+ GS with the 02-03 GS300 SD having blackwood. If you go for one of these, you will need an 01 RX300 airbag too. Do a search or just believe me that it is the only one what will work.Originally Posted by Escobar

The easiest way, if you want the rosewood, is to go with American Stitches like Gamma suggested.

Does american stitches take your steering wheel and give it back to you?
Cause this seems the wiset option to spice things up: loose your car for a week cause ppl who swap a steering wheel OEM from another model and messing with airbags seems kinda SCARY 2 me......
But don't over do the wood or it might end up looking like this..

back then during the first ever gb, they had loaner steering wheel and everyone was happy, a lot easier to work on. now i guess you just have to either leave the car home for couple of days or get another wheel and maybe forget about the airbag for a whileOriginally Posted by Lex_Fnatic
