bad thing happened last night while I was taking out the driver side A/C vent out for painting....

The cover piece snapped into 3 pieces...

Called Lexus of Cerritos and Longo Lexus. That cover piece comes as a whole including all inside parts and I was quoted over 100 dollars at both dealers.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!? I don't want to buy the entire thing!!!!!

Anyone willing to trade me a good one?

**** does happen.. for some apparent reason, I got moisture in my FOG LIGHTS (right side) and my 3 week old Max Gold yellow bulbs popped...

I know people on here got moisture in their headlamps but any of ya'll get it in your fog lights?

I WAS KIDDING WHEN I SAID USE A CROW BAR!!! but seriously sorry to hear about what happened I would say just buy the piece and use the broken one as a test pad to see how the color and the finish looks on it

thanks for the replies people.

It snapped because I bent it too much. Crazy glue is drying now so I'll see what's up with that.

I'm checking with IronToad to see if I can get the best price for it.

What kind of special hook tool do I need? Where can I buy that? I've been using my handy super-thin flathead screwdriver and that worked for many other parts.

Is there a recall or TSB on the moisture in lights problem?

The reason I am asking is because my friend has a black 98 GS4 and he has moisture in his lights sometimes but his warranty has expired already. Will Lexus still fix it?

Does the moisture in the lights dangerous at all? Like does it decrease visibility of damage the light in anyway?

nano - moisture in head lights is bad that it will cause the light bulbs to blow. Very expensive if you got HID light bulbs.
