sorry to hear about your loss but praise god you and family are fine as far as the car if i were you i would demand the insurance co total it . you must push hard for this for if they replace the engine and close out the claim , their is a HIGH risk down the road of interior electrical damage . you have heard of gremlins in the electronice well they typically surface after a few months when the water has had a chance to corode things..
if they dont total it , demand they keep the suplemental coverage part of the claim open for 3-6 months to cover the unforseen...
Damn A sorry to hear about the loss mang. Hopefully the insurance will total because flood cars are never the same but only time will tell.
On another note, how did the party for wifee go? I tried to call you a couple times but no service. Hit me when you get a chance. Hope all is well.
get it totaled if you can... like the guys have said, the car will ONLY have problems. im glad you and the rest of your fam is ok. thats the ONLY thing that matters.
Damn A, sorry to read about your car but I'm also glad to read that you and your family are fine..Good luck with insurance and I hope all works in your favor...
I feel for you man, but like others have said...its just a car...it can be replaced....but your safety and well being are much more important. Glad to hear that you are okay. Hang in there!
Sad to hear about the misfortune of the Black Lex......happy to hear that you and the family are safe and sound. If there is anything I can do for you guys let me know, if i don't have it, i do have the resources. I agree with everyone else, get the car totalled.....and that's from experience. My wife's car hasn't been the same ever since "Hugo" flooded NC......peace be with you and pm me if you need anything.

Hang in there blue...at least it wasn't modded. The insurance should take care of it. Its time for YOU to start reading the fine print from the insurance company. Are you taking the loss through your homeowner's policy or the automotive policy?
