Default Why I Like Lexus...........

Some of you may remember that I got my 01 CPO 300 last week...........

Took it to the dealership yesterday (strange noise)https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=128629

Well, I also had a laundry list of things I wanted them to check out ( Thanks Forum) and change a couple of C-BEST settings.......The list involved some TSBs and checking the sunroof drain tubes.......

They just called....all fixed, I hope, and I `ll pick her up in the morning.....All the while, I`ve been tooling around in an 04 RX....(Nice, but I had driven a first gen. RX and this one drives much more like a truck).

The kicker.........I had a faded cupholder cover.....https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=128497(Thanks Guitarman)....Checked with parts yesterday and the assembly was $120.
Said no thanks and thought that was the end of the story......My service rep just said they got it replaced under warranty.....................

Way to go Lexus.......................

Glad to hear that it went well.

But not all Lexus Dealerships provide the excellent service.

But glad you had excellent service.

Well, got her back............

No noise......Said it was a fuel line vibration....they insulated it.........

Also, they did an ECM calibration:https://www.clublexus.com/index.php/...iew/1826/1/60/

I had complained about the harsh shift, and after the recal. it is much , much smoother. I would recommend checking into this TSB..........

Ten minutes after I got there this morning, the cup holder assembly came in....Great timing.......

Nice, Nice, Nice......................

As usual, I`m very pleased with their performance..............

I am extremely familiar with the noises on a GS300. If you have any more let me know. I am glad the dealer found it, I looked on my ticket and mine was a fuel line, not a brake line as I stated earlier.

XYZ...... I had every intention of giving you the credit, until I looked back and your post said brake line.

I even printed out your post and another one I found, I think from e-man, and gave it to the service rep on Wednesday......

Sure enough, you hit the nail on the head............

These forums are good, really good...........

Thanks XYZ
