Question edfc placement

mods, i know this belongs in the Suspension and Handling section of the GS forums, but can you leave this here for at least the next 12 hrs PLEASE??? the reason i would like this here is im getting my edfc and tein coilovers installed tomorrow and i want the edfc placed right under where we stick our key in the ignition like (DGOT20s) has (other members have this same placement)... MY QUESTION is this... HOW did you get the edfc to stay there?? was velcro used or was the edfc screwed into place?? i want to make sure i tell the mechanic how i want it done, and done RIGHT. sooooooo, how???? thanks

Nice Dee and not too much custom work. Hmm. Now I have to go to the car to remind myself what was there before.

Instrument dimmer , I guess with Optiron thats pretty useless anyway I NEVER touch that ****.

I didnt do the install myself, but I know its screwed in, no way velcro could keep that secure over the long term

No wonder I don't remember. I don't really use that **** either. This seems more straightforward then the RMMGS4 move-the-mirror-controls-make-a-new-cover-for-the-edfc mod, which is what I was planning to do (especially since he is only a short dfrive away ).

Your right, but I think RMM would tease you for the rest of your life about it not being 'perfectly flushed' as his is (with the custom shroud and all) LOL.

Honestly I would see if RMM could custom mount it in that location AND make a shroud! Then you could talk crap to him once he's done about still having the mirror control and ease of going back to stock!!! LOL
