I just got my markers in the mail today; I want to know if the plastic you peel back to get to the screws (in the wheel well) stays bent out of shape or does it snap back?

Mine seems to want to keep it's shape when I pull on it.

Also, if someone already knows the socket size, that would save me some time. Thanks in advance.

hi, i barely had to bend it. just a little, and yep, it bends back...just dont bend it too much. also, ppl said they also changed the markers by going through the fog light area. you can try that too

 

i went through the fogs and it was simple. i believe you need a 10 mm socket... good luck!!

 

just did mine yesterday ..yes the plastic will go back to its shape ..just make sure to unscrew the bolts one in the inerfender well and the one below (just to be on the safe side and not rip the plastic )also if you purchased the clear units from ebay you will need to sand out the opening just a tiny bit to make the socket fit perfectly i used a dremel with a sanding bit took me 3 seconds tops . items look great. ill post pics tomarrow.

 

Thanks everybody - KP, I went through the wheel well. That was fast and easy. Now I need to contact Warden for some another set of 6-LED's to match my DTR/Wedge lights.

PS - I bought my Clear Markers from eBay but I didn't have to Dremel or sand at all; it was a perfect fit By the way, I paid 30 including shipping. What did everyone else pay?

Warden is the man I bought my 6-LED DTR Lights from. The price was six dollars shipped!!!! I think he's in Japan but the LEDs come from HK. They only take a week to get here too!

Here's what they look like in my car with the HIDs and Fogs. I want the clear side markers to have the same color The color in real life is hot! Not too blue, not too purple, not at all yellow. Just bright blue-ish white.
