Sounds like Rear Window Tint = History

If it's metallic tint it may be causing part of the problem.

If I remember correctly, a previous post said that the Nav antenna is located somewhere under the rear deck, and not in the window. I never really actively looked for it, so I can't confirm that.

I have never found mine either but I have noticed 2 bumps up in the front of the dash close to the window. I thought these might be the antenna. Don't know for sure. I was told by a mechanic that if you are using old software, the GPS might lose where it's at due to all the new roads and such. Who knows for sure?

I've heard that it's under the rear shelf and that metal tint will screw them up. And they will get lost on new roads if they're not in the system. Mine has me driving in the woods on the new US-421 between Winston and Wilkesboro.

Thumbs up yup

Yup. It's in the rear deck section. The 2 bumps in the front window are light sensors for the dash lights & front light sensor.

if anyone is interested if you have a NAV with antenna inside the car DO NOT put metalic Tint on your back window.. even high preformance tint. .I just riped of the high preformance tint and istalled regular tint and the navigation now works..

Do I have to remove the back seat in order to remove the GPS antenna? Would you also send me the diagram to knn444@yahoo.com? Thanks.
