Very common, it's the door lock actuator, there are many members who have or will soon replace these, roughly 200 for the part and another 200 for labor at the Lexus dealer.

Default Warranty??

Dbox-

If still under warranty the dealer should fix for N/C. You may have to insist tho- Had the same issue on my 98 GS4 (drivers side)-

Good Luck-

If your out of warranty prepair to get it good, I checked with lexus the other day, 290 for the actuator, 200 labor. The guy told me on the phone that you might wanna check some junkyards. You can order it from steve ganz for 198 i've heard

Before you go through all of this.. check to make sure you didn't blow a fuse first.

I had the same problem and it was a simple fuse problem. It's worth the look.
