Xcessive throttle lock
I’m thinking of getting this as I’ve had to replace a couple tps now
Question is will it throw out a code?
I plan on getting a new tps then adding this & clearing my current P0121 code
Has anyone here used or is currently using this product?
Thanks Everyone

This aftermarket part will be a mechanical override for the Toyota's Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent found on the 2JZ-GE engine.
The OEM system uses a servo motor and gear drive system to control the throttle plate based on the command of the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor.
The system has a fail-safe mode of operation in which the throttle cable is able to open the throttle up to 20% when fully depressed to safely drive the vehicle to the nearest repair station.
For 99% of the owners of this car this factory system works fine, and I doubt that you will find partners to modify it.

Those "throttle boosters" just trick the throttle control into thinking you've pressed the throttle more than you actually have, giving it the impression of being more responsive.
The throttle lock simply allows the throttle to be fully actuated by the cable instead of only as a failsafe, it doesn't change the relationship between pedal position and throttle position.
