Dreams really do come true....
I have great news to announce. I am finally an owner of a 1st generation GS300. I call her Genesis. I've been a member of clublexus for a 3 years; I'm happy to be a lexus owner. I've attached some photos. I hope everyone is able to see them. It's black in color. The chassis has 180,xxx miles on it. It has a JDM engine with 78000 miles. It's overall in good condition. The car is lowered on Megan coil overs. The car is a little low for my taste. I'm going to have it raised. When I drive i hear rubbing. It sounds like it's coming from the rear tires.
I'm very conservative when it comes to mods that I want to make. I really just want to get the car close to stock as possible. The guy I purchased the car from planned on doing an LS brake upgrade. I have a set of chrome OEM rims that I want on the vehicle. He informed me if I wanted to perform the upgrade, I would have to change the rims. So that's no longer in the picture. I plan on adding some HID's very soon. Any recommended brands?
Problem areas:
- Window trim around the driver side is coming off.
- The trim around the shifter, driver and passenger are peeling.
- The car has a couple of dents and some rust on the rear passenger fender. I plan on getting it painted soon.
- The cupholder is broken. Don't be fooled by the picture.
I'm so happy to have her in my life!

that car is gorgeous, congrats. Like you, I'm conservative with mods, the stock, clean look is good enough. Having said that, if you want to sell the Megan coil covers, I'm interested. Welcome.

Very clean! Raise up the megan coil overs and throw some better suited wheels on that! Whole new perspective then.

Update....
I purchased an HID Kit and yellow fog light bulbs a couple months ago. I stopped being lazy and finally installed both of them. I am pleased with the outcome. I wish the fog light bulbs were a deeper yellow. I have Putco installed. Can anyone recommend another brand with a richer, deeper yellow. Sorry for the crappy phone pics. I will load a better picture. I really want to clear the corners; I have reservations about resealing the lights. I don't want condensation in the headlight.. That's my only reservation.

I've done the clear process many times and never had an issue. There is a guy on the sti forum that has a great writeup I think its for a 06 sti. Either way bake each unit for 12mins on 225° then carefully pull them apart, remove the orange part then if they are still warm rebake it for 6-8mins and press it back together real good. All you really need is a couple screwdrivers just take your time and I cleaned mine inside once it was apart.
Diodedynamics. com sells a switchback bulb so it'll match your headlight for the side marker then turns amber during turn signal. Looks great and legal.

I'm running the same setup on my lights. 5000k low beam HID, 8000k high beam bulbs only, and 2500k fog light bulbs. I'm doing clear corners once I get the aristo parts next month.
