Default Erratic timing mark

Hey guys. I have a 93 GS300 and it has been giving me a problem since yesterday. Well, I decided to change the Distributor O-ring since the old one was done for. Put the new one on, fired right up. Well, I let the car warm up to operating temperature and then jumped TE1 and E1. I then hooked up my timing light and pointed it at the crank pulley and noticed the timing mark was erratic. So, because of this I was not able to set my timing. Also, I did set it back to TDC before putting the distributor back in. I have new spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. And My igniter and coil are within spec. Here's a video I found on youtube to demonstrate what its doing.

It didn't do this before, the only reason I pulled the distributor is to replace the O-ring. Also, there is no hesitation, stumble, or backfire (These are some symptoms I have seen with other people's cars). It has great power, but I'm pretty sure the timing mark should be steady so you are able to set it. Also, there was just a tiny bit of oil on the Alternator and I'm not sure if this could affect it. Any Help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Im no mechanic but my throttle switch was bad and replaced because my timing was not steady. Once the switch was adjusted the computer had gone into timing check mode and they were able to set timing at specs!
