chances are you pulled either a) the wrong bulbs from the car or b) they're burnt out as well, or c) you have a faulty cluster.
my bet is it's b) that's the problem

Update!!!!!

Got bulbs in from ebay and heres the results.

Now....what can I do about the Needles? I really dont want to fail MSI ( maryland state inspection) over the needles/. I failed already because of the bulbs. Now i replaced them and i need a remedy for the needles. I saw someone paint the tips with some kind of special paint but I need something thats common enough to find meaning source what I need from online or walmart, or radio shack etc etc. Thanks for looking guys.

why not get some needles off lextech? or some from another cluster? i'm sure there are a fair bit of those cars laying around. also, there's some people on ebay that offer services to repair them.

and either you got a bulb in backwards or burnt out, or they're crappy bulbs, cause it seems like a couple are burnt out :S

Probably just crappy bulbs.I also had one across from the #7 completley black and i turned it around and its now lite up. The dash markes on the rpm6 and 7 are out but the digits are lite up.
And i needed something to get me thru the inspection so maybe afterwards I'll get your bulbs because im sure the quality is better. And i couldnt wait lol. I looked on Lextech and didnt see the option for just needels.

really? it's been a while since i've been on lextech, mainly cause they don't make anything for aristo's, only GS300's, so i've had to look elsewhere.

your best bet tho is to look for a used cluster, or check out ebay, there are a number of listings for the needles, clusters, and a couple for the repair service for the GS300. but for the LS400 there are TONS of listings for repairs, so it might be worth a shot to message them and ask if they'll do a GS one, since it's mainly the same thing
