i forgot where i read it (it was here or the aristo club website)...but there was a website that was selling replacement window trims based outta Australia. does anyone know what the site was?

that's not really replacement window trim. it's more of a dress up kit. to get replacement window trim try ebay. or where are you in CA? I have found replacement Window trim for 40 bucks at a Lexus Junk yard in Rancho Cordova.

 

Garage 9 has the hardware kit which enables you to fix/reattach the window trim. I would trust my window trim to be in better shape than the trim from a car in the boneyard.

 

link13. actually the window trim I got from the bone yard as you say was in perfect condition. wasn't bent at all or torn apart like the trim is known for on our 1gs. also the kit can't really help you if your window trim is cracked. and I mean the window trim was only 40 bucks compared to what the dealer or other places charge.

That is so true, my trim looks like someone literally tried to pry their way into my car like an idiot.

 

nope haha. but good guess. Tap didn't have it in stock. I got it from a placed called All Toyota/Lexus. a very good junk yard in Rancho Cordova.

 

My trim is completely cracked after window regulator replacement/ fix on driver side. Don't know what is worse wind noise, or people constantly asking me if someone tried to break into my car.....SMFH PS why is it most junk yards only want to sell you whole door just for window trim??? I was about to just buy complete door and take off trim then leave door for them to dispose A$$holes. LOL Even often them $200 bucks. Sorry had to vent....

 

I got to say @VIP I looked into that bone yard you mentioned about the window trim. Funny cause you said it's called ALL Toyota/Lexus which ring a bell to a store called that in the same area of Cali on Ebay that I had saved. So, remembered they had a # 877-854-0603, so I called and he said he just sold his last front driver side trim a few days ago, and to call back in a week. That was cool, but the funny thing was the price magically change. It wasn't the $40 bucks as you claimed, more like "Hey they go for about $150 bucks". Which is still a cool price not knocking that nor am I'm calling you a liar. Just throwing out the feedback towards other interested members. So, thats that so no window trims @ this location for a while.......
