Bad power window switch

The power window switch on the driver side (american gs 300) for the passanger window went bad. How is the wood grain plate removed without damaging the door panel?

I'd try lifting up from the switches like your tryig to roll them up they are just popped in there...if that dosnt work I'd try the flat head screw driver but be very careful
