Default Window noise & headlight?

Im wondering if anyone has the issue of wind noise from the windows? I had all my seal replaced but its back. Will the visors help?

Also, my driver headlight keeps fillin up with water so i sealded it all up after letting it sit out for a few days but with snow and the cold it completely iced over inside and out. Will a jdm headlight fit usdm? Or does anyone have their old lights for sale?

Im lookin for whichever will fit and also the visors pm if you have some

Default Epoxy

I had the same issue when I first got into my lex. The trim was bent out and the rubber the window actually rides in between was seperated from the glass. Causing for wind and draw noise.

My resolution was rather permanent, assuming these trim pieces would not have to come off and if they did they would need replacing at that point. Meaning I would have to bit the bullet and pay the expensive lexus price for replacements. Until then I am satisfied.

What I did was simply bring the trim away from the window. My problem was broken tabs which were to difficult to replace. So I simply epoxied the trim into place and uses a plastic c clamp to hold it while it dried.

More than likely the rain louvers won't help you unless your leak is along the top of the window. But more than likely it is along that pillar post perpendicular to the ground which the louver does not cover.

I did similar to mad trbo, except I used JB Weld and a bunch of clamps to hold in place overnight. All along the bottom, pillar & top. No noise since.

the JDM lights will work, but are not DOT spec, i don't know if you have rules for your lights and glass down in the states or not, but in canada the lights have to pass DOT standards.

Like everyone else, I have the same wind noise problem. It comes from the 3 clips on mounted to the back of the b-pillar cover that hold it to the door separate from the actuall trim piece and it starts to separate from the top. Search for it. A user on here made a thread about how he fixed it.

And did you actually pry the headlight apart or just let it sit out? If the inside froze there's obviously moisture still getting in. Put it in the oven, take apart, clean it and make sure its dry, reseal, clamp it for a while. If it still freezes look if you notice anything moving that shouldnt. After I put mine back together, it would still condensate and I noticed a piece of rubber that is attached to the lens that had been torn from it's seal so I just super glued it and it's been fine ever since.

oooo right on, and they're nicer than GS300 ones,

must be nice to find guys in Canada that need US spec ones for inspection, and will trade for the JDM ones.

haha, Im sending my paypal for shipping tomarrow to a guy in that situation. Im getting JDM aristo headlights for the price of just shipping (60/70$) That may be the one perk to owing a GS300, that and they all come with leather.

dont burst my bubble....thats already indirectly stated by saying the "ONE perk of a GS3"

Might as well go to katskinz or leatherseats.com and make some exactly how you want. That spot #5 on my auto priorities
