Default 20's are goooone

Finally took the heavy annoying 20's off the car today, and went back to stock 16's

its amazing how different the ride is...i was shocked. the car accelerates faster, turns better, the rid quality is 10x better. and because of the tanabe springs it sits lower and handles better without the 20's

stock 16's might not be as nice, but im never goin back to them 20s

just wanted to share that...

anyone else had bigger rims but went to smaller and noticed difference?

I had 20" but they were 3 pc forged aluminum, much lighter than 1pc cast wheels. If anything I had better road feel, handling and steering response with my 20"s. But yeah, nothing feels as comfortable as stock wheels and suspension

Yeah, the old heavy ultra-bling wheels you had were probably 45 or 50 pounds each! They look like one-piece cast to me with fake bolts/rivets...

You would have been happier with a lighter wheel (three-piece forged).
Also, tires make all the differnence. Most people buy no-name tires for their 20" wheels because they're cheaper. A set of quality tires really make a big difference in ride quality, noise level, and handling.

But, c'mon, let's be honest... the OE Touring wheels are pretty awful looking.

Sorry, bro... they just are.
