I saw some Aristo power folding mirrors on ebay. They come with two mirrors and the panel with wires. Hase anyone installed these mirrors on your car? If so how do they work? are they worth the 150.00?

Pretty sure you're gonna need the relay piece too, if it's anything like the Honda folding mirrors. See pics, the black piece.

WoW! $150? If it comes with everything and it works then thats excellent! Just one mirror for the 2nd Gen GS here in Japan is $155 "Used". Good luck.

The wiring is not too hard to do, but keep in mind that you will have to make your own harness from the relay box, to the retract switch, and into each door. The folding mirrors have a lot more connections than the stock ones.

Here are some of the issues with fitting the PFM's: (power folding mirrors..)

If you use the JDM glass in the mirrors, they will not be aimed correctly. This is a simple result of the fact that you are sitting on the wrong side of the car. I suggest using the USDM mirror glass from your car.

The control panel that you get from the JDM car will not fit in the USDM car. You will have to come up with some other switch to control the in-out function.

The JDM mirror heater/defroster is of a different design and wiring interface than the USDM heater. I suggest using the USDM control scheme, as you are already wired for it, and the heater is attached to the USDM glass that you will be using.

I will post some pictures of the wiring in a seperate thread..

Second thought, I was planning to get this on Ebay, but I'll pass on this one. Too much work for just folding mirrors.

Please do post a link in here when you start the other thread.
Is the glass just different meaning the passenger side would read object in mirrors closer...
Im good at wiring but im not willing to spend 100+ bux just to end up frying a relay.
