100% adrenaline my friends
That was the first event that I was holding out in second gear instead of bumping the rev limiter in first all the way around and running out of gearing. The result was, I obviously HAVE the power and now can USE the power. I was able to initiate the drift almost at the bottom of the hill.. well before the other drivers and before the course even started.
My initiation speed was reading right round 65-70mph.. sideways. The breeze blowing through the drivers window right into my face felt SO good on that hot day.
