I have read a bunch of posts but cant find the one that talks about wheel sizes and offsets on the first gens.
Right now I have the konig tantrums 18x9 I believe they are +40mm offset.
I love the way they fit. Perfect. No rubbing.
Im looking at doinga 18x9.5 but they only come in a +35mm offset.

What are you guys running ?

18x9 34mm 18x10 35mm. I may have those backwards but it's only a mm.

Post up the pix of your car again. If I remember right it looks great.
Whats your clearance like ? My car is dropped around 4" on the Tein Flex's

Thats not even the car I was thinking of. Looks good, I just wonder how much clearance you would have if it were dropped another two inches ?

19X8.5 (+23 offset) and 19x10 (+15 offset) The front could be +18.

First off im very confused about the offsets. I thought I understood. I thought the more positive offset you have the more the rim stuck out ?
LexAristo yours appear to tuck ? My +40mm are within 1-2mm of being flush with the fenders.
So does that mean if I get the +35mm they would tuck +5mm more than my current setup ?

Second Whos the hot girl in this pic ?

The lower the offset the more the wheels stick out. Of course tire size, fender mods and other factors play a major part when working with very tight tolerances and low offsets.

Ok so I was right in my thoughts. The whats up with LexAristos +23 & +15 ?
Why dont his wheels stick way out ? I have +40 right now and they are flush.

He has sligthly pulled/flared fenders in the rear allowing him to accomodate his wheel and tire set-up.

I can see your fenders aren't rolled. Rolling fenders makes a whole world of difference when wanting to accomodate a more aggressive offset.

I didnt roll mine yet cause I havent needed to. These are only 18x9's with 265-30-18 front and 275-30-18 rear. They tuck. The only time they rub is going into my driveway when I stuff one of the fronts into the wheel well.

So I guess the moral of the story is that I can do the 18x9.5's with the +35mm offset and I should be good to go.

Here's a few pics of my car for reference

20 x 10 et +38 (rear) on a 285/30/20 Bridgestone S03

This is before I had my fenders rolled. If you look close enough you can see where I was rubbing. As you can see without modding the fenders, the fitment is really tight

Here's with rolled fenders. You can see how much more clearance I actually gained by rolling the fenders.
